Quick Menu
The Quick Menu feature provides shortcuts to key features. The Quick Menu will appear at the bottom of the screen when the Menu button on your remote is selected. Just press the Menu button on your remote and you'll have access to features like OnDemand, DVR, HD, Pay-Per -View, Favourites, Search and more.

Main Menu
The Main Menu gives you easy access to all the features of digital cable. Simply press Menu twice on your remote, then select from the options available, including TV Listings By Time, Listings By Channel, Search, Favourites, Local Weather and more.

Listings By Time
Access detailed program information and ordering screens. See categorized program listings for Movies, Sports and Children's programs. Listings are color coded to help you identify different types of programs: Blue - Regular Programs, Purple - Movies, Green - Sports Programs, and Light Blue - Children’s programming.

Listings By Channel
See program listings organized by channel.

Pay-Per-View
Sort through the pay-per-view movies and events by both time or by title.
To order a pay- per-view just by selecting the movie you want to watch, press OK on your remote and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your order.

Favourites
The Favourites feature allows you to quickly access the channels you have designated as your Favourites. You can create up to five unique Favourites lists, which can be individually named.
To set up the Favourites feauture select Setup from the Main Mainu, then Favourites List Setup and follow the prompts.

Search
Use a full keyboard to Quickly find programs. Search by title, keyword/description or by actor/director

DVR
Digital Video Recording (DVR) –Come home to your own personal library of television programs, movies and sports that you can watch whenever it’s convenient for you. It’s TV on your schedule.
Pause live TV! Rewind and replay programs so you don’t miss a beat. Record your favourite programs and view them as many times as you want, whenever you want. You can even record High Definition TV.

OnDemand
Watch movies and other programs whenever you want with On Demand. The OnDemand menu displays a variety of programming categories. Use the arrow buttons on your remote to select a category and press OK to access listing for the category.
With On Demand you can pause, fast forward and rewind using your remote. EastLink delivers TV on your time.

HDTV
High Definition (HD or HDTV) is the most dramatic change for viewers since the introduction of color TV! HD is the hightest resolution digital television format available, offering up to 5 times the resolution of standard analog television. Choose from an extensive list of digital music services to suite every taste and every mood. Plus get detailed information on each song and artist featured.

Parental Controls
Lets you decide what you do and don't want your kids to watch. Lock out specific channels, titles and programs by rating, and prevent unauthorized Pay-Per-View purchases. Please note that movies with
“R” rating may include content that includes sexually explicit content.

Lets you customize certain features of the interactive program guide such as the Flip Bar, parental control preferences and language options.

Local Weather
Access local weather information and your 3-day forecast anytime you want. (Not available in all areas.)

Messages
Receive messages from EastLink about free channel previews, important notices, and more.

VCR Timers
Schedule your digital cable box to turn on and tune to a channel for a future program. With this capability you can program your VCR to record at the same time.
This feature is available in the on the Main Menu of HD and standard digital boxes.
